The human body has its own, unique beauty. The turning of the arm, the lifting of the chin, a movement of the shoulder or the bending of the knee, creates a whole new pose and shape. Technique is an important part in producing a good image.
Much more important is the sympathy and trust between model and photographer. Both have to be comfortable, only then the photographer can see the beauty of his model. The combination of both these things will give the best result.
The depiction of the human body is a subject, which has enthralled painters, sculptors and photographers through time.
As an artist, I have always been interested in the human form and its many interpretations.
I wish to avoid forced posing or unnatural poses, fake or uncomfortable smiles, useless or distracting backgrounds, meaningless or confusing situations and boring themes. I encourage and welcome improvisation, true emotions, a story to be told, freedom to be yourself or playing a role or a character you always wanted.

Marc has had a passion for photography for over 20 years but 5 years ago he made his hobby into his full time occupation covering all aspects of the subject from portraits to commercial to model portfolios.
More recently he felt that he wanted to get into the more creative side of photography working with models on themed shoots.
He drew inspiration from everyday items and places he’d visited, quite often using some very ordinary objects and locations to create some extraordinary images, which push the boundaries of the imagination.
The ongoing results of his creativity are showcased on this site and available to purchase in print form.
